Family Tour: Coins, authors and books!
‘Book in’ for our family tour to celebrate Australian children’s books and authors for 2026 Children's Book Week! Enjoy a hands-on tour of the Mint museum, learning about the stories and authors behind some of our coins. Play 'coin spotto' and view tiny design details with magnifying glasses. See into the factory where our robots are in action.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and bookings are essential. This program is recommended for families with children 12 years and under.
Crafternoons (all ages)
Drop in at the Mint for an afternoon of craft celebrating Australian children’s books, authors and the coins we have made. Learn about the different books and authors that have been portrayed on our coins and immortalised. Choose and make your favourite book craft!
