Quiet Mornings at the Mint

The Mint is opening its doors earlier than usual for regular mornings of peaceful exploration. Our Quiet Mornings are specially designed for those who might have heightened sensory requirements. Come and visit our newly renovated exhibition space and enjoy the reduced noise and smaller crowds.

Bookings are required and free.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are on the ground floor and the first level. Currently, these amenities do not have a push button entry or slide pads.

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative

Our Visitor Experience Hosts have been trained with the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower initiative. By wearing a sunflower lanyard, badge or wristband, people with disabilities that aren't immediately apparent can signal to others they may need help, understanding or alternative communication methods as they go about their day.
