In 2019, the Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) released its first ever Christmas decoration coin with great success. In 2020 the Mint is excited to ring-in the festive season with a second beautiful Christmas decoration coin, inspired by Australia’s official floral emblem – golden wattle.

The Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) has launched the second limited edition commemorative coin in the Star Dreaming series which illustrates important Indigenous Australian Astrological stories.

The Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) has launched new limited edition commemorative coin set and three 50c coins commemorating Treasured Australian Poetry from Banjo Paterson.

Today, the Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) launched Australia’s Coin Sport Challenge — a fun and family-friendly challenge for all the Australians that continue to be stuck at home or who are missing sport in these COVID-19 times.

The Mint has a long-standing tradition of marking and celebrating our nation’s greatest sporting achievements said Mint CEO, Ross MacDiarmid.

The Royal Australian Mint has released two limited-edition coins celebrating the Afghan Cameleers, who played a vital role in the exploration of Australia. 

The Royal Australian Mint has been recognised as an exemplary Australian tourism provider and cultural institution at the 2019 Australian Tourism Awards, which was held in Canberra on Friday 6 March.
