The Royal Australian Mint has issued the final release in its three-coin The Earth and Beyond series, which showcases our extraordinary planet and beyond.

Previewing at the 2019 Berlin World Money Fair, the Royal Australian Mint announces new black nickel and selective gold plated coins as part of the Echoes of Australian Fauna series, featuring native Australian animals.

Mint CEO Ross MacDiarmid said that the series showcases the Mint’s excellence in coin manufacturing and is a tribute and a celebration of native Australian animals.
