Invictus Games Sydney 2018
The word ‘Invictus’, Latin for ‘unconquered’, embodies the fighting spirit of our wounded, injured and ill servicemen and women.
The Invictus Games is an international adaptive sports event that highlights the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation, and generate a wider understanding of and respect for those who serve their country.
In 2018, the Invictus Games will be held ‘Down Under’ in Sydney from 20 – 27 October. Competitors from 18 nations will compete in 11 different sports, with events being held across Greater Sydney, including Sydney Olympic Park and on and around the iconic Sydney Harbour.
The Games creator and ambassador, His Royal Highness Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex will be in attendance to cheer on the athletes at the Games.
