The Outreach Team from the Royal Australian Mint are excited to be attending the Adelaide Coin and Banknote Expo held by Numismatic Society of South Australia.

Q. Will there be coin swaps?
- Coins swaps will be available at this event. Stay tuned to our socials for coin swap announcements to come.
Q. What's a coin swap?
- Bring your cash and swap it for circulating coloured and commemorative coins in sealed Royal Australian Mint bags in uncirculated condition. It's the perfect opportunity to build your coin collection with unique pieces. Simply exchange the cash value for the bundle, and we'll give you the coins – it's that easy!
Q. Will there be purchase limits?
- Yes, purchase limits will apply. Limits are subject to change on the day.
Q. Do you accept card payments or only cash?
- Cash only accept for coin swaps. Cash and Eftpos available for coin purchases. Cash out not permitted.
Q. Can coins be used as payment?
- While coins can be used at the swap - limits to the amount we can accept will apply, notes are preferred. If possible, we recommend bringing notes to help ensure smoother transactions.
Q. Will you have a coin press at the event?
- Yes, we will have the 2024 $1 'A' Counterstamp Uncirculated Coin - Out of this World - Australia in Space available at this event.
Q. Where is the nearest ATM?
- ATM's will be available on-site at this event.
