2007 ANA World's Fair of Money - success for Royal Australian Mint

The Royal Australian Mint attended the 2007 American Numismatic Association (ANA) World's Fair of Money from August 8-12 2007.

Over the 4.5 day show, over 10,000 people visited the Mid West Airlines Centre in Milwaukee to see 19 exhibiting world mints and over 1400 dealers.

The Royal Australian Mint brought Australia to Milwaukee. This is the first time that the Mint has sold product at a branded stand at an international show, and the interest in Australian coins was phenomenal (particularly in our 2007 Great Australian Artist kangaroo coins designed by Rolf Harris). We also ran a competition to win a giant Koala; gave away free cork hats; provided information about visiting Canberra and Australia; and entertained guests with our authentic Australian accents.

We look forward to attending the 2008 Berlin World Money Fair in February!
