The Royal Australian Mint is proud to observe Earth Hour again this year, and will be turning off our lights at 8:30pm on Saturday 26 March 2011.

Earth Hour is a global sustainability movement organised by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and is a global call to action to stand up, to take responsibility, and lead the global journey to a sustainable future.

• By sending in a valid ballot form* to the Royal Australian Mint, it is deemed acceptance of the terms and conditions to take part in the draw.
• Limit of one (1) ballot form per active** customer number per envelope. All ballot forms must include a Royal Australian Mint active customer number.

This year's made to order special coin release continues our association with Australian numismatic societies. To recognise significant chapters of history through coin design, the Royal Australian Mint and the Perth Numismatic Society unveil the 2011 $1 Silver Proof Made to Order Coin – Zuytdorp Shipwreck. There has been an unexpected delay to the delivery of the 1966 Decimal Currency Heritage Set. For those of you who have purchased this product you should receive yours within the next 14 days.

Two events are planned to say farewell to 2010 and welcome in the New Year.

To say farewell to 2010 - visit the Mint during the day on Friday 31 December 2010 and be amongst the last people in the world to strike a 2010 $1 Canberra mintmark coin.

If you visit after 2.30pm, you will receive a raffle ticket and go into the draw to strike the very last coin of the year. You will also be awarded with a special certificate and frame for your coin as a memento.

The Royal Australian Mint's Call Centre will not be operating over  the Christmas period from 21 December 2010 to Tuesday 4 January 2011.

The Mint Call Centre will close on 21 December 2010 at 3.00 pm and re-open on Tuesday 4 January 2011 at 8.30 am.

All orders must be received by COB 15 December 2010 if you require an order to be delivered in time for Christmas (Australia only).

This includes mail, fax and internet orders We cannot guarantee deliveries will arrive in time after this date.

If you have ordered the 1966 Decimal Currency Heritage Set, please be aware that there will be a delay with the delivery of this product.

If you ordered any other products at the same time as your 1966 Decimal Currency Heritage Set, they will still be dispatched as per standard delivery procedures. Delivery of these items will be free of charge.
