Want to be the last person in the world to press a 2009 coin or the first person in the world to press a 2010 coin at the Royal Australian Mint?

If you answered yes to either of the questions above, then make sure you get down to the Mint on Thursday 31 December 2009 and Friday 1 January 2010.

Following tradition, the Mint will unveil its new mintmark coin design to the public on 1 January 2010. However, before we change the dies over, we are offering one lucky winner the rare opportunity of being the last person in the world to use the visitor press for 2009! Raffle tickets will be given out to visitors from 3.00pm on Thursday 31 December and the lucky winner will be drawn at 4.00pm to press the final coin.
