Want to be amongst the last people in the world to strike a
2011 $1 Canberra mintmark coin? Then make sure to visit the Mint on Saturday 31 December 2011. If you stop by after 3 pm, you may be the lucky raffle winner to strike the very last coin of 2011.

All orders must be received by COB 14 December 2011 if you require an order to be delivered in time for Christmas (Australia only).This includes mail, fax and internet orders We cannot guarantee deliveries will arrive in time after this date.

Alternatively you can purchase Royal Australian Mint products at selected Australia Post outlets and coin dealers. Please follow the links on this website to find the nearest one in your area.

The Mint and Tennis ACT are giving Canberrans their first chance to hold and have their picture taken with the Australian Open Women's and Men's trophies from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm TOMORROW ONLY.

The first 100 visitors from 11.30 am tomorrow will receive a discount voucher for the Australian Open coins to be released in January. Get in quick!

Join the Royal Australian Mint in celebrating the release of its recent products from 10 am - 2 pm on Saturday 5 November at the first ever Mint Field Day! To mark 50 years of Triple Zero, the Mint has not only produced a commemorative collectible coin but you can also come along and explore the emergency service vehicles that respond to those calls - including the Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter and a 44 metre ‘Bronto’ airlift, as well as a sausage sizzle from 10 am to 2 pm. If you’re one of the first 300 visitors you will also receive a free showbag packed with goodies!

To keep coin collecting interesting and exciting, the Mint have worked hard to create innovative and unique products.

The 2012 Six Coin Uncirculated Set will include the hyper-metallic printed 50 cent coins and retail at $32.50. The 2012 Six Coin Proof Set will feature a selectively gold plated 50 cent coin and retail at $130.00. These coins are not available to buy separately.

These products will go on sale on Wednesday 2 November.

The Coin Shop is a great place for buying your souvenirs, gifts and collector coins and will be open from 9am till 4.30pm, Monday to Friday until the end of Floriade - 14 October 2011. Weekends will be open as per normal.
