The Mint’s free guided tours and public programs have been suspended until further notice. The Mint will remain open to the public during normal business hours and visitors are welcome to take a self-guided tour. These measures have been taken to avoid gathering larger groups of people in one area.

Due to the unfolding Coronavirus situation, the Royal Australian Mint has cancelled the first Stage of the Eureka! Roadshow, which was scheduled to visit Tasmania next week.

The health and safety of staff, customers and visitors continues to be the Mint’s first priority.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change and will keep you informed of any future developments through our social media channels and website.

The Mint remains open to the public and all other events and programs are operating as normal.

Get out your calendar, pop up a post-it note or ask someone reliable to remind you of these exciting new releases, available on Monday 6 April 2020.

The Contact Centre, Factory and Administration Offices will be closed on Monday 9 March 2020 due to the Canberra Day public holiday in the ACT.

The eShop is open 24/7 so you can still place your orders online.

The Mint Coin Shop and visitor areas will be open from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm.

Tasmania will be striking gold in March, when the Mint's Roadshow rushes into town, visiting Launceston, Devonport and Hobart for the first stage of this year's roadshow.
