The spirit and legend of Gallipoli will be commemorated on 1 January 2005 with a new coin design featured on the Australian $1 coin mintmark. The coin will initially be only available from the Royal Australian Mint, on the Mint-Your-Own Mintmark machines. The $1 'C' Mintmark is not released into general circulation.
