 South Australia Three Coin Set  PROOF + UNCIRCULATED These Three Coin Sets are uniquely representative of South Australia and are presented in deep blue coloured packaging. The sets contain the $1 coin with the Centenary of Federation logo, a student designed 20c coin and a 50c coin that features the Coat of Arms of South Australia. The South Australia Coat of Arms, proclaimed in 1984, features the State name on an ornate scroll that overlays a collage of symbols of the agricultural and industrial base on which the State was founded. Sitting on the grassy mound is a shield with the State Badge, the Piping Shrike, against a gold background. Immediately above the shield, sitting on a red, blue and gold wreath are four sprigs of the crimson Sturt's Desert Pea, the beautiful floral emblem that flowers throughout the interior of South Australia. The 20c coin, Lisa Murphy from the Yankalilla Area School has produced a collage of symbols that are intrinsically South Australian. Sturt's Desert Pea, the Southern Cross constellation and a line of hills that represent the Flinders Ranges - the most significant raised landforms in South Australia, feature in her designs. The sets include the $1 Centenary of Federation logo coin (coloured in the proof version). The proof version of the set contains individually struck coins made to the highest minting quality. Each proof set comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Innovative packaging ideal for displaying the coins holds the uncirculated $1, 50c and 20c pieces.
