Design agency hits a six with Mint's websites

19th November 2008

Design agency CRE8IVE has come away with two wins for the Royal Australian Mint at this year’s Print and Graphic Excellence (PAGE) Awards.

The Mint enlisted CRE8IVE to develop interactive websites to support two of this year’s commemorative collector coins – The Don: 100th Anniversary of Sir Donald Bradman’s birth and Australia II: 25th Anniversary of America’s Cup Victory.

CRE8IVE took out both digital categories in the PAGE awards with these outstanding websites. The awards recognise the collaborative work between client and agency and the efforts that are required to deliver successful projects.

“It is pleasing to see the Mint being involved in new media and web development,” said Graham Smith, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Australian Mint. “CRE8IVE has done a terrific job in making these websites innovative and we look forward to working with them again in the future.”

CRE8IVE won “Excellence in new media: web development (over $5000)” for the Mint’s The Don website and “Excellence in new media: web development (under $5000)” for the America’s Cup website.

To view these websites please visit www.greatestcentury.com.au for The Don and www.americascupvictory.com for the America’s Cup website.

The Mint is open to the public from 9am to 4pm on weekdays, and 10am to 4pm on weekends and public holidays.
