Contractor selected for Royal Australian Mint refurbishment
The Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasurer, Chris Pearce MP, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance and Administration Senator Richard Colbeck, announced today that St Hilliers Contracting Pty Ltd had been selected as the Managing Contractor for the refurbishment of the Royal Australian Mint (the Mint) in Canberra.

Historical coin release 400 years in the making

Security review at the Royal Australian Mint
The Royal Australian Mint has extensive security procedures in place that have been the subject of three recent reviews. The Mint has engaged the Australian Federal Police Protective Services to carry out an urgent review of its physical security arrangements to identify any weaknesses in the current system, and to recommend required corrective actions.
