Ansett Australia Centenary of Federation Test cricketers to receive special coin sets commemorating our Centenary
A limited number of the Royal Australian Mint's 2001 Six Coin Sets commemorating the Centenary of Federation have had their packaging especially overprinted with a dedication to the Ansett Australia Centenary of Federation Test to be played in Sydney, and will be presented to the members of the Australian and West Indies teams.

Free coin sets given to Federation babies

Centenary of Federation coin program launched
The Royal Australian Mint -the national Mint- has released to the Public today, the first collector coin sets for the Centenary of Federation Coin Program. These are the collector Year Sets which contain the standard coins, from 5c to $2, having the designs we will see in circulation next year.

Perth Test Match to start with the Mint's new commemorative Centenary coin
The second Ansett Australia test match at the WACA will start with the special $1 proof coin from the Royal Australian Mint. The Ansett Australia test match between Australia and the West Indies starts in Perth on 1 December.

Australian Cricket Board to use Mint's new commemorative Centenary coin for Test match
The Australian Cricket Board will use the special $1 proof coin from the Royal Australian Mint's new year 2001 Mint Set during the toss of the first Ansett Australia Test Match between Australia and the West Indies in Brisbane on the 23rd November.
