Purpose

To advise our loyal customers, retailers and the general public of the attributes of authentic and official Royal Australian Mint products, so they can easily tell the difference between our official and custom minted products, re-packaged products in the secondary market and competitor products.

Holographic sticker

The Royal Australian Mint has introduced a holographic sticker on all 2011 products which are part of the Mint's official numismatic program (except the gallery press mintmark coin).

This holographic sticker is custom-made and tamper-evident which means it cannot be removed without damaging the sticker.

If your purchased product, believed to be in the official program, does not have a holographic sticker then it is not an authentic Mint official numismatic program product. If this is so, you should contact the place you purchased the product.

Corporate products made by the Mint will not have this holographic sticker.
